FAQs

The River Rock County Water & Sewer District has a different online payment provider called Transax.  We can now take American Express, Discover, Mastercard and Visa for your water and sewer payments.  It allows our customers to pay their water and/or sewer bills online using a credit or debit card.  If you elect to pay your bill with a credit card a 3% convenience fee is deducted from your payment to cover the District's cost for credit processing.  Click the online bill pay button below to make a payment.

Transax Online Payment System

You can pay your water and sewer bill online using our new Transax™ Payment System which offers our customers safe and secure credit card and electronic check transactions.

ONLINE BILL PAY FAQs
Does it cost money to use the online system to pay my sewer and water bill?  Yes.  A transaction fee in the amount of 3% is added to the balance to cover the District's costs in paying credit card transaction fees. For example, if your water and sewer bill is $100 and you pay $100 using the online credit card payment page your account will be credited $97.  If you want to pay your full bill using the credit card online payment page add 3% to your bill total.  An easy way to do this is to multiply the total bill by 1.03 and then enter that number for your total payment.

 Which address should I use to make my payment?  You have to use the name and address that is associated with your credit card.

 Which credit cards are accepted?  American Express, Discover, Mastercard and Visa.  Debit cards are also accepted.
Can I pay my bill with a credit card if I call the District telephone number?   No. You have to make your payment using the online payment page.

 Can I setup my account to automatically bill my credit card?   No, not at this time.  This feature may be added in the future.
